Shakespeare's Globe

Barbara Marchant and Israel Hicks from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, commissioned Globe Education to create its first one semester conservatory course for BFA acting majors in 2002. From 2003 the students have spent their entire junior year at Shakespeare’s Globe. We also welcome design and stage management students for one semester courses.

The residency is now one of several university and conservatory courses hosted by Globe Education throughout the year. These range from short courses and summer schools through to year-long residencies and doctoral level research placements.
